SIANE is the most important industrial exhibition of Midi-Pyrénées, an economically booming region. This year, between 24 and 26 October, 10,500 visitors came over from all over France to establish new business relations and present the latest technologies and production systems. The sectors covered are mechanical engineering, metal processing, surface treatment, automotive, aerospace and robotics, among others.

The EU-funded research project MEMAN, which aims at optimising resource efficiency in metal-mechanic value chains, had a dedicated stand at the exhibition. French industrial association and MEMAN partner Mecanic Vallée got the chance to explain the MEMAN approach to interested business people, who would like to cut the costs and use of resources in their company.
